VIRA Lab is a joinery and carpentry workshop that uses the upcycling concept (creative reuse) for the design and construction of small furniture, design objects and quality accessories.
Aiming to raise awareness about sustainable production, the circular economy and handmade/crafts in Portugal, VIRA Lab uses wood and other raw materials obtained from lifeless projects, such as furniture without functionality, recycled material and waste, including production waste. This way, something new, functional and durable is created.
Fabrizio Suzzi is the responsible for this project. Was born in Italy and moved to Portugal in 2015, where he decided to create this workshop, that combines his passion for art and crafts with wood with sustainability.
After attending a joinery workshop, Fabrizio decided to invest in this area, and for two years he worked in an atelier specialized in product design, manual techniques and the use of electrical equipment.
VIRA Lab transforms and creates unique pieces, exploring the potential of creative recycling and contributing to the protection of the environment, bringing to life a quality craftsmanship with environmental awareness, dedication and lots of love.
